Brewer's Blackbird

This was taken at the end of a long day in low light. Although this was in Southern California, the guidebooks state that it does make it to the Pacific Northwest. I have yet to see one up here.

I love the perch, David. They’re around here. Michelle calls them Parking Lot Birds. You’ll often see them foraging bugs off the front of automobiles in parking lots. We get a few around here, but they kind of blend in with the other blackbirds so they’re not too noticeable unless you catch the eye.

Your exposure on the plumage is superb. It really brings out the iridescence. Well done.
