Two together. Male and female. Whether competing for food or territory , I’m not sure. Taken in April, so could have been mating. Loved the acrobatic activity.

I’m impressed that you not only were able to freeze the motion, but that you were able to follow them and keep both in the frame! Very nice! I suspect it would benefit from a little reduction to the highlights, both in the background and on the birds.

Well done on capturing flighty little subjects. Angle of both birds provides a unique perspective. I agree about lowering the highlights a bit, and it looks to me like you had some tricky shadows to manage that day. The background is nice and soft . the stick extending from the females tail is distracting for me. Perhaps consider removing that?
