The composition works nicely for my taste, Mike. I’m not familiar with this species of nuthatch, so that’s an added bonus. Nice detail in the bird. Maybe bring the top of the head down a trifle?

Mike, what a cool little bird! Have never seen this one..
Tack-sharp, and straightening the tree a little to level the bird worked well, and the comp is perfect.
Really nice work!

HI Mike, love seeing these little guys. Their range starts a few hours drive east of my area. I have only seen one a couple of times so this is a real treat. I like the composition with a view of the tree cavity and nice pose from the bird. Interesting so see the backside so well. Well done.

Wonderful catch!! Also a new bird for me. Hope some cute little babies appear soon – looks like he has a very nice house!
