The colors on this are really beautiful. The white cattle Egret against the green background go so well together. There’s a very pleasing softness to the image. If I were going to change anything I might try to use a luminosity mask to bring out some detail in the shoulder feathers.

A lovely image, Allen. Great wing position, excellent exposure and nice background and foreground. Just a sweet image.

The only thing wrong with this is that it is flying away from you…

Allen: this is a truly beautiful image. I really like how the bird stands out against the greenery in the background. Capturing the bird with a bit of netting material in its bill is a big plus. Maybe tone down the whites on the upper part of the near wing just a bit. Excellent otherwise. Richard
