I found some large rocks with these interesting erosion patterns while exploring along a beach on the California coast. I am always amazed at how the forces of nature continuously create this artwork which can be found just about anywhere.

You found some amazing shapes and framed them well. The “overlay” of grainy texture holds things together in an interesting way. It feels a bit low in contrast but maybe adding more would be too harsh. Well seen!! I hope you shot hundreds in a place like this!
Ted: The graininess grabbed my eye immediately as well as the shapes and forms. I agree with @Diane_Miller regarding the contrast and could see boosting the white slider 30-40 points. Also agree with Diane that this is very nicely seen and composed. Nicely done. >=))>
Thank you @Diane_Miller and @Bill_Fach for your kind feedback. I tend to like my photos to be a little underexposed, but I took your advice and boosted the whites a bit in this image. Here is the reworked photo.
