This is a wild daisy from a patch of daisies growing in our side yard. I have always been fascinated with how nature uses so many patterns and textures. No shortage of photographic opportunities.
It is a studio shot, used a tripod and remote. Post processing included minor adjustments for highlights and shadows. This is a square crop and I’m thinking I might have cropped closer to emphasize the “pattern” challenge.
Any thoughts, comments and suggestions are welcome.
Nikon D7200, f/13, 1.6sec., iso 400 @230mm.
Thanks.

Linda, you’ve got a fine mix of lines coming in from the bottom and left, shapes in the petals and “dots” in the center that look good against the black background. I do think this is underexposed.
Thanks, Mark. I did go back and check the levels histogram and pulled the right side in from 255 to 230 which helped to brighten the center but didn’t overexpose the white.
Beautiful portrait of this daisy, Linda! Nice detail on the inside yellow.
