Very nice job on the exposure with good detail in the plumage yet without blowing out the bill which is so easy to do on these. I like the composition with the rings around the coot.

Hi Ed, nice details and exposure on the coot. Love seeing that red eye. The rings give a sense of symmetry so the centered composition works pretty well.

A peaceful scene. Good detail in the body and the bill isn’t blown out (which I usually do). Nice look at the red eye. The ripples in the water add to the image.
