The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
People are always surprised that I am more than willing to go out to photograph in the middle of a bright and sunny day. But the fun is to find ways to make the light work for me. Like using some ICM to get under some palm fronds as the light streams through them from above. I was walking around Egans Creek Greenway on Amelia Island, FL. I spent a good 15 minutes playing around with different movements during the exposures to get very different results.
Specific Feedback
Looking for general ideas – if any – on improving the feel of the images.

Wow! These are gorgeous! The B/W gave an unexpected look that holds my attention. I think the tonalities are beautifully balanced, and the lines and composition very interesting. My favorite is the first. The composition is very strong and the ICM is very subtle but gives it that special touch that holds my attention. Well done!!
Patrick, this is a wonderful triology of images! I agree with Diane regarding the tonalities, balance, and strong form. Great use of ICM without the effect overpowering the story and the image. They remind of shattered glass especially the last one. I love the sharp shard shapes in that one. Great work!
These are all interesting abstracts, Patrick, and lack and white is well suited for sunny days. Of the three, I prefer the last one, largely because I’m drawn to the strong geometry in these images and the lower right corner tends to lost that strength in the first two images. I think a slight clockwise rotation and crop from the bottom would make the first image just as powerful as the third.
Thank you @Diane_Miller, @Alfredo_Mora , @Dennis_Plank and @Gill_Vanderlip I really appreciate your thoughts. I also think the first is the one I go back to more often. But as Alfredo said, the third looks like glass. Or to me, some other man-made object. So interesting to do with something like that with something natural. And Dennis, I did try your suggestions of the crop and rotation. I think the rotation took away a little of the dynamic nature of the lines. Though, the crop from the bottom – and a little from the left as well, did help and lessen the black area in the lower right. Thanks for that.
