Cranes coming back for the evening

Anywhere Sandhill cranes can be seen is a place I enjoy being. I found myself in Southern Colorado as the cranes were migrating and very much enjoyed seeing them return on an evening with not only a beautiful sunset but also a crescent moon.

Specific Feedback Requested

Any and all but specifically does it work to leave the moon in the image or not?

I really like this, John. The birds are framed nicely and the moon is icing on the cake.

Perfect positioning of the birds against the clouds and the moon is a wonderful touch, creating an eye-catching composition.

John, the cranes, the colorful cloud and especially the sliver of moon at the top make for fine story telling.

Thank you all for your thoughtful comments. Sometimes it is just hard to know and, since for me photographs are often about having others enjoy them, I value your thoughts.
