Allen: It’s been awhile since we’ve had a good crocus image posted so thanks for this. We used to see a fair amount of them in the spring at the old NPN but not so much here . This is really nice, especially the center and the dew. Most excellent. >=))>

This is very nice, Allen. Unusual to have the petals missing like that, but it really makes the image. I really like the dew. I need to find someone with a good patch of these. We have just one clump in a garden that’s otherwise bare this time of year and another in grass that interferes with good images, though I tried the other day (wasn’t proud of the results).

A very nice image, with the interior part of the Crocus fully revealed - and the colors are gorgeous! The small dew drops add further beauty to the picture.

Sometimes looking at the part gives you something better than the whole thing. And this works well because you captured a lot of detail with this close-up. The dew adds a lot to the comp and I like this one as presented…Jim

Allen getting to see the innards of a crocus is always special. The dew makes it extra special. The color contrast between the stamen and the petals looks great. I used to have lots of these in my yard and they were one of the best parts of early spring.
