My apologies to those of you who are experiencing real winter conditions as our part of Texas rarely gets below 40 degrees but we have had some cooler weather and our clematis are blooming like crazy. I liked the juxtaposition of the mature flower and the bud. All comments welcome. >=))>

A beautiful flower, Bill, and I too like the bud and bloom.

Hi Bill,

No flowers here as I was splitting firewood in 30 degree weather. Looks good and sharp from corner to corner. No nits from me–Well done…Jim

As long as we are giving weather reports… - 6F yesterday morning. It is so nice to see flowers blooming. I envy your warm weather. The fully opened clematis is tack sharp and your choice of composition excellent. The inclusion of the new bud in the image gives hope for the future.
