I liked the pose with the feathers fluffed up. I was able to get relatively close to the woodpecker; unusual to have to zoom out.

A really nice look at this bird, Allen. Some of the highlights on the back look pretty hot, so you might bring them down a touch. Otherwise a very fine image.

Beautiful shot! The clear focus is wonderful, including the lichens and other things on the twig.
