Image Description

When I got to a favorite place to walk along the C&O canal, the water level was way down and it was completely covered in this mix of duckweed and what I think is algae. I was struck by the red/green pattern with scattered fallen leaves, so I took a couple of shots. When I got home, I saw what this week’s challenge was and it sure fit the theme.

Feedback Requests

This could also be interesting without the fallen leaves, but there was no way to exclude them.

R5, 100-500 @ 500, 1/800 s, f/13, iso 800, tripod. A 5 shot stack for full dof.

Mark: I especially like the leaves and their random placement serving as anchors. I also like how you filled the frame and the color contrast. Well seen, composed and captured. >=))>
