Emergent Spatterdock

Image(s)

Image Description

I went to visit a local pond that routinely shows some interesting early spring colors. It had changed dramatically over the last year, with shallow water extending out much further from shore that previously. That kept me from watching the Largemouth Bass roaming and lurking beneath the Spatterdock. However, I did find some alternate views that I enjoyed, like this pair of Spatterdock leaves that were standing up out of the water being backlit along with some hints of color from reflections.

Meant to be, “not your usual view”.

Very cool scene, Mark. Gives an impression of “you’re going to need a larger boat”… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
I like it as presented but also found a pano crop working very well too. Crop from the top to eliminate the underwater leaf somewhat and then merely crop from the bottom to even out a bit. Just a thought…
