Fantastic!!! Love these. Super sharp and love the detail with the entrees!

I not so long ago saw a video about catching a blue tit in flight. The photographer claimed that it took 10000 (!) shots to reach his perfect picture. I hope it did not take that much for these splendid pictures. No need for detailed feedback. These pictures are perfectly as I would like to make them.

Very nice. I especially like the pose of the first capture of papa on the way to feeding a kid.

Excellent job on these, Allen. It’s not easy to catch these in flight, so congratulations on doing it twice in one morning even coming to a box. Ours are still shopping (we think). They usually spend too long arguing over which box to take only to find the swallows have taken both and they have to start all over again.

Incredibly sharp flight shots, Allen. I especially like the wing position of the male and that both are carrying food.

I like the colors in the first image–blues are excellent. Both images are sharp and motion captured perfectly. I do like the prey items which show that bluebirds like to pounce on insects found on the ground. Well done…Jim

Two great photos. I love the two different wing positions in the two photos. Especially like the insects in the beak. Very nice!

Allen, definitely two excellent photos. The details in both are amazing. Great job on in-flight captures.

Excellent!!! And perfect lighting! The first one is amazing!

Our bugs are not yet out enough but the same pair (judging from a damaged toe the male has) are staking out and protecting the same box from last year. But the lighting is strong backlight.

I love these photographs … they look like they belong in a very pro-level birding Monograph. The subject to background color contrast is excellent!

Hi Allen
Your photographs show great action and feather detail. Love the morning beakfast.
