The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This image was captured four days prior to my Blizzard Pano post. The buds were just starting to emerge on the cherry trees and I felt that this image had more of a delicate feel to it; almost oriental. Again I liked the way the trees on the left and right sides had this graceful arch inwards towards one another as if reaching out for an embrace. I wound up making this one a pano as well to eliminate some distracting elements along the bottom.
Specific Feedback
I am really interested in your thoughts on this one as I am probably going to include this in my submission to the NLPA contest this year.

Hi Ed, I like this one a lot, the dark tree trunks in the windows are much less distracting than the other image. Brilliant stuff. Well seen and processed.
Thanks for posting this fascinating image. NLPA is a great competition. I am not familiar with the minds of the coming jury, however, so my comments are probably of limited value.
As regards the convergence of the branches, which you mention: To my eyes, the convergence is somewhat diminished because there is too much distance between the converging elements, and because there is too much space and delicate color dynamic around the branch to the left as well as the two branches to the right; to me, the trunks from the two trees appear as if placed in two separate images that are combined into one, your panorama. I have a suggestion though: If you crop the panorama on the left and the right side so that the lower part of the trunks are emerging from the two corners of the image, then the lower parts of the trunks suggest powerful diagonals that lead the eye towards the point of convergence. You might object that they already work that way in your broader panorama, but to my eyes diagonals become visually stronger if placed in or near the corners. Perhaps this is just me. I made a quick crop just to give a sense of my main idea. Does that make sense to you?
Ed, the combination of arching trunks and dense blooms looks very good and fits the pano format well. I know it’s not possible, but part of me would like to have more blooms around the lower part of the left trunk. (That’s wishing for a result rather than accepting the joy of what nature offers…). Have you tried a slight desaturation of the yellows to let the pinks stand out a bit more?
Beautiful Ed! I think the pano crop in both images was a great choice.
I’m torn between the two. I really like the tree structure more visible in this latest post (captured earlier), but I think I like the boldness and brightness of the blossoms in your previous post.
I’m wondering if a simple boost in the whites and/or saturation and luminosity of the blossoms might make this pop a little more? Otherwise, the crop and presentation work beautifully for me.
Thanks so much everyone @guy, @Igor_Doncov, @Leo_Catana, @Mark_Seaver and @Lon_Overacker for your thoughtful C&C; always appreciated. @guy : I like this one better as well. @Igor_Doncov : I had not thought of that, but I do now that you have mentioned it. @Leo_Catana : Thanks for taking the time to do a rework. I like it! @Mark_Seaver : I hear you. If only we had that much control. @Lon_Overacker : I will give that a try.
