Image Description

I used a slightly longer exposure time, softening the image by slightly moving the flower. White Mountains, Arizona.

Technical Details

I did not have filters with me, so I used a smaller aperture than I would have liked to make for a slightly longer exposure time, as I wanted to move the salsify long enough during exposure to give it a bit of a dreamy feel. 70-200 2.8 lens at 200mm, 1/6 sec, f/13, ISO 125

Specific Feedback

Just curious to the emotion this evokes in the viewer.

Fireworks was my first thought. Noce how you got that dreamy look to come out.

Fritz, it’s good to see a post from you. Fireworks is a good description. I like the mix of a fairly clear look at the salsify with some motion and how the centers of the seeds stand out.
