Wow, a wildflower that pretty looks great. I like how you framed it. And the BG shows it off nicely. Nice crop as well. Thanks

Very good, Allen. I like the angle you used and the way it brings out the geometry of the sepals. Slightly cloudier skies or something to diffuse the sunlight might have brought out the petals a bit better, but still a fine image.

What a cool flower! Great details you caught and color combination nature gave you. Agreed that softer light would have been better. Maybe a cloudy day. We don’t have these here so I have no idea what it is, but it’s really striking.

Lovely, with a very nice BG!! Softer light is always ideal but you did a very good job here controlling the contrast. When I find one I try to remember where it was, to go back in summer and photograph the huge tan dandelion-type seedhead, but they’ve usually been eaten.

The center of the flower is very sharp with a small amount of DOF drop off on the petals, but not a deal breaker. BG looks good and goes well with the flower…Jim

The subject, composition, and background blur sing here Allen. My only wish is that all the parts of the flower were equally sharp.
