Entrance to Ahtanum Mission

The mission is a favorite place for me to photograph in all seasons. Beautiful surroundings, historic buildings and some of the oldest apple trees in Yakima area. Annually apples are picked and baked in pies and available for sale to public.

Oops! Incorrect posting. Can’t find any fauna in this image. Not sure what to do. Posted another in landscape so can’t put it there. What to do???

Hi Jim. Since it’s now been a couple of days, I can move it over to landscape. It seems like the best fit. A lovely image. I’ll have to look this place up.

@Dennis_Plank Thank you.

oooh no wonder you keep shooting this. It’s so inviting and intriguing. The colors seem a little over the top to me, especially the reds. They look possibly blown out. And maybe a CCW shift to the horizon. Great fence line! I like how you’ve added the branches pointing down the path.

@Kris_Smith The reds there are very, very red. Yes, I agree a little over the top but they really do almost glow. CCW? Thanks for noticing. I missed it.
