Thank you and , no, they are not Colorado aspen, they are Wyoming aspen.

Thank you. This is one of those that I have returned to years after I took it and fooled with it and then it sat in my hard drive. Anyway, for some unknown technical reason the original NEF file has disappeared. This one was taken right before that one however. Ive just cropped a little of the mountains off- they were partial anyway.

It’s a beauty as shot. I like how you’ve emphasized the colored aspens and their reflections by cutting off the mountains even as the mountains in the back show the context.
