Hi Don – It is amazing what you can find along the coast! The radiating pattern here is just fantastic and I love all the detailed textures.
I have two points of feedback. First, while I think this wider view works, a crop (or separate composition while in the field) that isolates the radiating pattern in the lower left without the blue/green striations at the top could be interesting, as well. I think some of the lines in the blue/green striations that are parallel with the upper edge remove a bit of the feeling of flow for the scene since they are different than the other lines in the scene. A panoramic crop of the bottom two-thirds of this frame could work nicely, too.
Also, the processing feels a bit dark. I think this could benefit from some brightening, especially the deepest shadows. Since this is such an interesting, deeply intricate subject, I would like to be able to see a few more of those interesting details.
