Florice

I’m really late to this challenge but this is one of my few but favorite ice images. I was passing through Tuolomne Meadows in Yosemite NP in 2006 and by chance strolled over to a small stream that caught my eye. I had no idea what I would find but was delighted to discover these little flowers and leaves in the ice. All comments welcome. >=))>

@Bill_Fach This is so pretty! I’d love to run across this someday. I think you did a good job of capturing the detail in the ice. It seems like it would have been difficult.

Bill, I remember this shot. It’s a beauty, with all of the crystal “snowflakes” set off well by the warm tones in the stones below.

I’ve seen a lot of ice, but I’ve never seen it quite like this. A beauty for sure.
