Florida Panhandle Unknown Wild Flower

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Not sure what this flower is. I found it in the Florida Panhandle on a swamp hike.
It was next to the carnivorous Pitcher Plant and carnivorous Sundews.
Any Ideas?

A nice glowing capture. Seems you’ve got a blossom of a pitcher plant. See @Kris_Smith’s image and engaging description from earlier this summer.

Thanks @BobN and @Diane_Miller
What I do NOT Know about Flora and Fiona could fill an encyclopedia.
The Pitcher Plants I am familiar with are what @Bill_Chambers captured here

Diane’s look new and fresh mine was on it way out.
Both types were growing together where I found mine.

Yes, this is a Purple Pitcher Plant flower and they’re one of my favorites because they’re so odd. Not sure what’s going on with the processing, but there’s so much smeary blur all around that it’s difficult to find the structure and texture of the flower that I know is there. They are deep and wide flowers so sometimes getting them all in focus front to back is tough. I’ve only ever done it with long lenses at some distance from the plant. And yes, it is a carnivorous plant and often grows with sundew in bogs where evolution has come up with this adaptation because bogs are so low in nutrients. It’s fascinating.
