This Osprey was shot from the same location as the Cormorant I last posted. I chose this photo because of the Osprey’s wing-span and eye contact.

Pertinent technical details or techniques:
Canon 7DII, Sigma 150-600mm, 582mm, F7.1, 1/4000 at ISO 400. I increased the exposure by.51, reduced the highlight by 32 and cropped the shot by 60% into a 16/9. DxO Photo Lab
This is pretty nice. Bird is sharp, and the details help up pretty well to the crop. I think I’d prefer less room on the left and more on the right. The bird feels to be flying that direction. Also, in an ideal world, there’d be more separation between the beak and the wing. Just a couple small nits in a nice image.
A very nice Osprey image, Peter. I like the wingspread a lot. Like Lyle, I think I’d put more room on the right and less on the left, but that’s pretty minor.
