Getting a fly to hold still for even a single shot is pretty amazing, Allen. I think your depth of field and the focus drop off work well for this image. The head is awesome.

I agree that the focus fall-off is effective, not a problem. I’d add some canvas along the bottom to give it some more space to look into. Otherwise, an excellent catch!
