Description
Graceful has continued to bloom despite the trauma visited on her over a week ago. A couple of days ago there was no wind to deal with early in the morning so despite the weak light I was able to get a pretty good series of images for a stack against the ivy wall BG. Hoping that more of the buds open and I suspect they will but I could not resist taking advantage of the stage of the flowers and the conditions. >=))>
Specific Feedback
I’m pretty pleased with the stack but always appreciate fresh eyes.

Bill, excellent progression follow up image here. If all goes well and things remain evenly progressing it would make a wonderful collage or small project viewing too…
It’s perfect with that one full bloom and the anticipation of all looking like that eventually. Quiet energy and the beauty of the life cycle. And I’m going to say it - that light is lickable. Just wonderful. I was going to say you need to eliminate a white spot near the stem, but realized it’s me who needs to clean my laptop screen!
A beautiful composition, Bill. I can see one minor issue with the stack (assuming you meant to get it all in focus) where a rear leaf against the stem is a bit soft, but it blends in quite well that way, so I don’t consider it an issue.
I really like the composition/presentation of this image, Bill. As well as the nice light on the plant and that the colors contrast well with the background.
Hi Bil,
After seeing “Aging Gracefully” I just had to backtrack and see the progression of this beauty. Again the soft lighting is perfect for showcasing the lovely pastel colors of the stem and blooms. I like the subtle progression of the blooms opening as they work their way up the stem. Beautifully done; no suggestions from me. BTW, your ivy wall makes a perfect BG.
