Galaxy

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Our stonecrop succulents have advanced from a solitary star to a Gemini pair to a budding constellation to a full constellation and now to a galaxy. I like that there are a few spent stars but still a lot of potential little suns in the mix. >=))>

Specific Feedback

These are small flowers (about the size of a dime) and the stalks and stems are pretty stout but even then the wind can make stacking difficult. I’m pretty happy with this one but always appreciate fresh eyes and thoughts.

Terrific composition that fills the frame nicely. I like the combination of the flowers and the buds and the succulents in the immediate background. The color complements the flowers while not competing with them. Nothing I would change, expertly done!

I like this a lot, Bill. Excellent job with the stack. I do think you could bring up the exposure of the whole image a bit as the succulent leaves are looking a little dingy to my eye.

Hi Bill,
I’m guessing there are very few comments here because it’s so good! I have no feedback, and the darkness of the greens are perfect for your title.
