Critique Style Requested: Standard
The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
The birds were sitting on a huge streetlamp with space for a whole flight of birds. And yet, that one chose to land between the two sitting ones!
I have chosen for this unusual composition to emphazise the tension in the space between the birds. Do you think I have succeed in doing so, or not?
Canon R5, 100-400mm, f11, 1/250sec.

I do!! A wonderful wacky comp, and it tells a great story about the odd ideas birds often seem to have about where they are going to land. Maybe they don’t plan well??

This is great fun to view and it tells a strong story in a very unusual fashion.
It works! I like your composition choices. The birds make a triangle, the white really emphasizes the beaks and the birds themselves.
