The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
My wife and I went on a cruise to Alaska this Summer. This was not an ideal photography trip but a good family trip. That doesn’t mean you can’t do any photography, however.
Specific Feedback
Any feedback is appreciated.
Technical Details
This was not a photo trip but a family trip on a cruise ship at Glacier Bay. The image was taken early in the morning on a deck of a moving ship. This is handheld with a Fuji X-T5 with Fuji XF 100-400mm lens at ISO 1600

Hi Shawn,
Lots of mood and atmospherics as well as some nice layering in this scene. I am also enjoying the combination of warm and cool tones here also. That warm light on the snow covered peak in the BG completes the image beautifully. No suggestions from me as this is very nicely done.
I love the layers in this photograph and that the lowest and highest layers are both forms of water. The mystery imparted by the clouds only allowing the peak of the mountain to come through.
Shawn. I hope you also bought a lottery ticket that morning because you captured something very unique in this shot. I love the color transitions from pink to blue, with multiple bands. Creates a mystical feeling and emotion. I’d be curious if (very) slightly raising the blacks would soften the image, adding to its amazing emotions, while further emphasizing the main subject, the mountain? Cannot offer much more. Well done!
What a splendid image! I love the stratification of the colors, warm to cold to warmer again… And the presence of the mountain in the background, emerging from the clouds/haze and watching over the landscape. Maybe, maybe - but it is a matter of taste, I do not like very tall images - you could have some more space in the horizontal, unless there are disturbing elements… In any case, beautiful.
This is beautiful and I like it very much! The pinks on the mountain and in the sky work so well with the cooler tones in the bottom half. Compositionally, I like that the mountain is off center a little bit. It makes for a more dynamic and interesting photo. All in all, nice work!
