This and the several previous images were taken in Sunriver, Oregon last week and it did live up to its name with beautiful sunny weather, hence the bright background.

That’s one bright background, Allen, but it works for me. Beautiful job on the sparrow.

Hi Allen, great details on the sparrow and a fine pose. Love that curvy perch. The bird contrasts well with the bright background which I find okay as it is somewhat uniform. Nice image.

Really nice capture. Would prefer a more muted background and maybe a little more room on the right for the bird to fly away. Otherwise, it’s great as a tight portrait too!

I see the Sparrows are up for posing for their yearbook photographs, very nice. The only thing I would look at is taking down the saturation in the background (5%).
