This is a fun image. I like the pose and the facial expression of the giraffe. Please post one without the filter as I feel that it would be just as good or better than this one. However, I like this one because it has a lot of character…Jim
Very cool and lots of fun, Sandy. I really like the expression you caught. I like what the fractalius filter did to the giraffe, but it also seems to have added a “cut-out” feel to the edges, so I agree with Jim, that I’d love to see the original as well for comparison.
Jim and Dennis- Sure- I’ll try to dig it up when we get home. I didn’t start with the original with this iteration. Thanks for the kind comments!
What a cool effect Sandy. I love this one.

You both asked about the “original” When I was in New Zealand. Here’s the cropped version of the original - nothing special, so I played with the Fract filter.
Giraffes are very unique and very photogenic. I do like the original and with some tweaks to shadows, brightness will look pretty good. Thank you for posting this one…Jim
