Very tough to find any of the hornbills (except the Ground Hornbill!) at eye level. They are usually high in the trees.

A very nice pose that fits extremely well with the perch, Sandy. Lovely background as well. Africa seems to have a lot of really awesome perches.
Sandy: well done. The neutral colored bird shows nicely against the pastels of the background. These birds must think that cameras are guns. Usually, as soon as I point a camera at one, it takes off.

Very nice Sandy. The hornbill is displayed nicely against the colorful BG. I like the comp as presented. Joel Sartore’s camera and lens was almost destroyed by a hornbill. Maybe Richard is on to something
