Nice pose and detail in the Heron, Allen. I really like the water in this one. You nailed the framing horizontally, managing to get the splash ring in the image. I think it adds a lot.

Allen: excellent behavioral capture. I like the reflection and the ring made by the catching of the minnow. They add considerably to the image. Richard

This looks like a big crop… I would take down he blues a tad.
Nice action.

Great catch and fine detail. The bright areas on the right are a little distracting,; you might experiment with burning them a tad.
Sweet!

Good job in capturing the action. Nice reflection.

Nice peak-of-action shot. The prey adds a lot. Water is almost dream-like. I think the bird could handle a touch more sharpening, and I think Dan has a good point in that there is some extra blue in the plumage. I’d clone out that vertical reflection of a stick or whatever it is at the top of the frame. Hopefully, the egrets and herons come back to the lake this summer!
