That’s a very nice wing pose, Allen! And you have got a very nice sun angle, too. I wish it were a nicer perch, but can’t really choose what we get in the field.

Excellent light and pose. BG works well.

A great approach shot of this Green Heron, Allen. The lighting and details are excellent, and I’m okay with the perch. The water in the background being darken by shadows and low light, really makes the heron stand out nicely. I do love his wing position.

Cool wing position and I like the inclusion of landing stage. The light is lovely. The detail isn’t quite up to your usual stellar quality, but still quite adequate.

Nice pose and detail. This one really needs to be viewed large. The heron pops very nicely off that dark water background. Well done.
