The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
While touring a local wildlife area, I came upon this hawk who was enjoying the sunshine on a fall day. I seemed to be striking a yoga pose by stretching out its tail feathers while standing on one foot. I found the pose to be somewhat whimsical.

Technical Details
Taken on a sunny day in a local wildlife area. Sony a1, Tamron 50-400 lens, handheld resting on the car door. The hawk was enjoying the sunshine.
Welcome to the NPN Bird world, Joey. I really like the pose of this hawk. It does seem to be a stretching exercise they go through at times. I really like your handling of the light on the hawk. The light shining through the wing is great, but you still have good exposure on the rest of the bird. When shooting up at a bird like this I’ve found that you can create the illusion that it’s closer to level with you if you leave a little less room below it and a little more above it. The reverse works as well. Other than that the only thing I’d change in this is to tone down the sky, which looks a bit too blue. You didn’t mention what software you use, but any of them should let you select the sky, then reduce the saturation and maybe shift the tint a touch.
Welcome again. I look forward to seeing more of your work and reading your comments on other people’s images.
