High in the Medicine Bow Range

Image(s)

Image Description

I was llama-packing on patrol as a volunteer ranger for the US Forest Service. My llama and I climbed the highest trail in the Rawah Wilderness, which brought us to this overlook above a cirque. I took this 15 years ago (I’m 83 now) just before I “graduated” into Canon DSLR.

Charles, this is a good look at an alpine cirque with the llama’s head telling us how you got there. I’ll bet it makes a great memory and story.

Nice image, Charles, and welcome back to NPN! I love the llama’s head in the photo. I would like to see just bit more sky. it looks like a nice, bright, mountain day.
