Autumn comes to the higher elevations of the North Cascades in early October. Western Larches are dressed in their seasonal color on the slope to the right, while the layers of the Cascade range fade into the distance.

Ted: I love the color palette here with the wonderful autumn warmth and the subtle pastels of the sky. A beautiful scene superbly rendered. >=))>

Ted, although the main subject or theme is the fall colors and mountain ranges overall. But for me the excellent delicate cloud structure and cover is a really plus here… :+1: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
Only thought for change might be slight turn down in the blue / cyan cast. It might get a bit of pop out of the leaves and foliage… :thinking:
Just a thought not a nit at all.

Ted, the depth and mix of colors are outstanding. The layer of clouds at the top is a bit of a surprise, that works well as an eye stop as it adds even more to the sense of depth.
