Hippo on the Run

While in a boat on the Zambezi River in Zambia, I heard loud sounds in the nearby brush. This lone hippo was frightened by something (possibly the boat) and decided to head to the safety of the river. I liked this photo which shows it on the move and how the spray of water nearly envelops the hippo.

Blasting action, terrific pose and love the splash too !
You may enhance the contrast in the spray and crop part of the trees on the top.

Great shot Richard, the light on the water splash makes it for me. I wonder if there’s anyway to get a bit more detail in the hippo?
