The male of a pair of Western Bluebirds raising their second brood in a box roughly 15 feet behind the garage. The perch is one I added to the top of the post supporting their nest box. Taken July 20th of last year. I may have posted this on the old site-I don’t recall.
Dennis, your Bluebird looks great with fine colors and details. The perch is great as well. It looks like he’s holding a grub, ready to feed it to a youngster, which adds a lot to the story.
