I was out yesterday trying to photograph an Osprey when this lovely little Hoodie came swimming by. Some nice water and a nice pose.
Olympus EM1-X, 300mm f4 with 1.4x TC
1/2500, f/5.6, ISO 640
About 70% of full frame.
Minor adjustments in LR and PS. Cloned a couple of ugly spots out of the water.

Fantastic detail in the Hoodie, Keith. Nice complimentary between the water and the duck. Perhaps next time you’ll get an Osprey. Great capture.
Excellent light in this image. The Hoodie appears to be smiling. And that creates a very pleasing mood for me as an observer. The light on water is really superb.
