The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Here is another from last winter in Colorado along the South Platte River. Was able to nab a few of t his hooded merganser drake as he came in the land.

I like the detail and how the merganser pops against the background. I like the background colors; looks like some nice light. From experience, I know how difficult it is to get these birds in flight, so kudos on patience and technique.
This one makes me laugh, Kurt. It looks like he’s totally out of control and forgot what he was doing. Excellent technically, as always.

I love the out of control look that you grabbed with this image, Kurt. The background is just out of focus enough not to grab your eye but provides a beautiful color d reflection in the water. The bird and wing position are very dynamic looking to me. These guys are like t little missiles and are hard to catch in flight. Great job nabbing this landing action shot.
