A wonderful in flight capture of this little guy, Mark. Great stop action at 1/2500. I will just have to work at trying to get one of these in flight. They move so fast sometimes, I just give up. Hovering would be good. Nice details in him. I wish the background was just a smooth, one color, but it isn’t, and I would be thrilled to have captured this shot just like it is here.

Mark: Awesome flight shot. I actually like the BG as is. I’m happy to get a good image of one of these guys when they’re perched and still. Many kudos. >=))>

Hi Mark,
This one turned out very nice. I like the bokeh in the BG too. Well done…Jim

A very nice mid-air flight capture, which is very hard to do. sharp for such a capture.

Great photo! I’m guessing there was no flash involved, since it was a 1/2500 s exposure. That had to be a very sunny day!

You can tell that a lot of work went into this photo, and it was all worth it.
