Great Sand Dunes NP from my winter 2014 trip. This was a prelude to the most spectacular sunset I think I’ve ever seen but a pretty cool scene in its own right. All comments welcome. >=))>

Oooh this is nice Bill. Dramatic and so full of interesting shapes. The slice of sky is a nice addition, not too much. I’m not sure if that one small stick in the LRC is good or bad. I keep looking at it. Counterpoint or eye magnet? Hm.

Bill, this is great. The softness of the dunes and the mix of light and shadow is excellent. The bits of sky at the top and grass at the bottom frame the dunes very well.
Gorgeous! The light along the ridge lines, while subtle, really is just astonishingly beautiful.
Bill, you captured the dunes at their best! What a remarkable image. Leading lines, warm tones, nice warm light and shadows. They are definitely spectacular to see.
