Description
Spain
We were fortunate to find a small family of lynx, hunting in the fields.
This adult male chased down a rabbit.
Between heavy rainshowers all day - the lynx’s fur was quite wet

Awesome encounter, Sandy. Frankly, I just think it’s cool to see a spontaneous shot of this species rather than just the hide photos everyone’s getting these days (and predation is obviously a bonus).
This is a great image Sandy. I like the head turn to see what is coming after his prey, and the challenging look, saying, “just try it.” Nice image and detail in both bunny and lynx.
Amazing capture Sandy! Such a great moment immortalized. My wife and I will be attending a 3 day workshop in Spain next month focusing on the Iberian Lynx. I will walk a happy if I am able to capture anything as cool as this!

Thank you! Best of luck with your lynx workshop - they should know places the lynx hang out and put you there. Lots of other cool critters and birds as well.
