Image Description

This past January we had quite a few freezing nights and I would put some warm water on top of the ice in the birdbaths then remove the ice and refill them in the mornings. I noticed the cool bubbles and the colors added by the weeds one morning and grabbed the camera. I believe I posted some variations on this image at the time, but this was reprocessed today.

Sony A7R5, FE 70-200 f/4 macro @ 149 mm, iso 640, f/22, 1/125. Processed in LR & PS CC. A fair amount of adjustment to accent the bubble structure and ice texture. Cropped to 4040x5191. Taken January 28, 2025.

Dennis, this is a killer take on this anomaly. This to me, like @Mark_Seaver , bubble scene would make excellent if not impossible to solve puzzles. I’d not seen the previous but this “reprocessed” image is excellent… :+1: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Wonderful! Fascinating patterns and textures throughout. I like the color gradations. Very nicely done.
