The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Everything comes in bloom in my yard. Also this " vuurdoorn" I think you all call it " Firethorn". It not happens often , but it’s fun to make images next to my backdoor.
Specific Feedback
I am mostly doing forest. How is this flora image in your opinion ?There is a lot to learn I hope.

Ben, I like the flowers emerging from the darkness. The leaf and the areas that aren’t quite dark in the background are distracting, though. You might want to get rid of those.
Ben, These are nice flowers that contrast well with the background. I do feel there are too many flowers which then distract from the detail within the flower. Perhaps a closer photo of a smaller group such as the distorted T at lower left.
@Don_Peters , @Rob_Sykes Thank you both for your comment . Those leaves of this Firethorn in the background making the image more natural in my opinion. Without them there rests an almost abstract image. And that was not my intention. Only the distorted T as you suggest is a compleet different image which idea I also like. Ben
Beautiful composition, Ben. I love the flow of the flower clusters in this image. I suspect if you printed this at 16x20 or more, those that want detail of individual flowers could easily discover it.
Wonderful! Lovely composition with perfect detail in the light flowers. I don’t feel there are too many flowers – the fact that some are more shaded gives them a nice variation. I like the hint of detail in the BG. I would like more canvas on both sides, though – it feels like a landscape format would fit the subject better. Well done! I look forward to seeing more of your garden!
Ben: I probably do 95% of my Flora work within 100 feet of my doors. My thoughts pretty much echo @Diane_Miller. I like the non-uniform BG and all of the blossoms are in good shape. Composing this as a 5x4 would work better for me but this does work as is. Keep 'em coming, >=))>
