The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Don’s latest post inspired me to post this image of one of our succulents that has been a source of many opportunities this past year. I took this in late December when the top just started to flower. It has progressed even more so I may have more to say about it soon. It seems to thrive no matter the weather conditions. Of course we’ve had no real cold so far so I may be speaking too soon but it continues to delight.

Specific Feedback

The BG is a weathered fence on the upper left and another succulent in the lower right. How does the BG/BGs work for you?

Nice job, Bill. I remember all the great images this plant gave you this year and it looks like it’s ready to continue. You have one prolific model here.

What Dennis said, and the BG is perfect!

Hi Bill,

This one looks very good to my eyes. I like the lighting which pulls the leaves away from the BG…Jim

bg looks good to me…variegated, but still subdued and doesn’t attract the eye. The light is really nice here and the soft texture comes through nicely. The crop feels a tad tight in the upper right, but there could be something there that would attract attention. I like the touches of dew and spider silk.
