There’s an area not far from here that I have luck finding ferruginous hawks early in the year and here’s a shot I got recently one morning.

Nice job on this one, Dave. It would have been nice if it had come by on the other side so the eye was lit, but in this kind of shot, you take what they give you. I like the wing position. I get the feeling it’s coming in for a landing.

Dave - this is really nice. The pose and wing position is great.
I think you might be able to light up the shadowy areas a bit more, and highlight the eye as well.

Nice in flight pose Dave with fine wing position. Lighting direction is tough - miss seeing the eye catchlight, etc. Still a fine catch.
