Igor D. was wondering what one of these would look like if the ripples were oriented more like waves, with the “sky” above. So, here’s one like that.
What technical feedback would you like if any? What artistic feedback would you like if any?
Any comments welcome.

Bonnie, I guess that I have been spoiled by the other posts from this series, but this image just doesn’t do much for me. As you could probably tell from my suggested crop on your prior image in the series, I like what’s going on in the bottom half here, but not so much the top half. It’s the silver and blue ripples that intrigue me, and the part where you can see down into the sand is not as appealing to me. And in this image the sand dominates.
Thanks for your thoughts, @Ed_McGuirk. I, too, find the ripples to be really interesting. I’ll keep exploring this idea. May be time to get out the big lens to isolate elements for an even more abstract look.
I have been away for a while and this is the first image that I see in your series (I could only tell from @Ed_McGuirk’s comment) but I like what’s going on here, in particular, the brighter and shinier reflection just a little left of center in the image. It evokes the image of a pirate’s booty.

The ‘waves’ have un upturned look here. The image is starting to look more like a sonagram than a nightscape. One of those that expectant mothers get. I think it’s worth pursuing some more but would guess that a lot is up to good fortune on Which way the water flows.
