Peter:

Glad to see you’re back taking some photos. The.Plover images are excellent. I like all of them, but especially the first one. The head turn is excellent.. detail is very pleasing. A good series. We have them around here, but I gotta make sure they’re really not peeps or kildeer

Nice low angle on these, Peter. All of them have excellent eye contact and detail looks excellent. I’m glad to hear you’re up to going out again and look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I like the last one because of the pose and the shells. Semipalmated plovers are fun to photograph and am glad that this one lured you out into the field. Well done…Jim

P.S. Peter. I moved the third image up to the top for the Editor’s Pick.

These images have a quiet charm – this little guy looks very happy, patiently posing for you. The detail and tonalities are wonderful. Congratulations on a well-deserved EP!

Good to hear you’re back out with your camera. Looking forward to the results!

Congrats on the EP, Peter. Excellent detail and nice environmental look at the plover.

Hi David, Dennis, Jim, Diane, and Allen.
Thank you for your kind words. As always, I am humbled and honored by this Editor’s pick.
Peter

Peter, I can see you got nice and low for this - I like the last one the most for the reasons Jim stated, but they’re all ones I’d be proud of. It’s a very smartly-dressed bird! Congratulations on the EP.

I’m always running late to the parties! I love all the images Peter.

I like them all for different reasons. The one on the top…the EP (congratulations!) is so wonderful. I think it’s the turn of the head. The second one is showing the shells a little better…and I can almost hear the gentle slapping of the little wave on the shelly beach, Love the over-shoulder glance in the third and the questioning curious look of the bird in the last. And, those shells. Wow!

Hi Glen
Thank you for the Wow, you are never to late to the party.
